Assistant Manager, Procurement (Facilities) – Dubai, UAE

This role will be assisting the Manager, Procurement in planning, organizing, and managing the company’s business goals and objectives to deliver efficient, professional service to all stakeholders.
This position will be responsible to manage several Capex procurement categories, operations responsibilities, reporting metrics, working with stakeholders to ensure compliance and to identify areas for improvement.
You will create and communicate RFX documents to vendors for key Capex requirements and lead the tender process through to techno-commercial evaluation, post-tender negotiation, contracting, purchase order, and delivery.Assistant Manager
In addition, you will align with internal customers such as Engineering, Facilities, and Operations to understand and implement process improvements while maintaining a pipeline of projects.
This position has the responsibility to perform procurement activities of goods and services following policies & procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Work requires independent and professional judgment and is performed under the general direction of the Manager, Procurement.
Ideally, we’d like you to have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience within Procurement in a similar role.
Sound knowledge of administrative processes, exceptional communication skills, and excellent Microsoft Office knowledge is required.Assistant Manager
You will have experience with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, contract software, ERP, and e-Sourcing. Besides, you will have experience in negotiation, analysis, a good understanding of terms and conditions, and the ability to manage projects.
