Pre-Sales – BMC (Qatar) – Doha, Qatar. This position is based in Qatar, and reports to the Director – Technology.This role is an opportunity to be a part of an exciting journey within a strong regional technology distribution player.

Pre-Sales – BMC (Qatar) – Doha, Qatar

Pre-Sales. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Sales throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities
  • Deliver and customize technical presentations on BMC products using virtual technologies
  • Build new presentations for use by sales and other software consultants that emphasise the value of BMC solutions
  • Relate customer stories that show the value of solutions while adapting to persona based use cases
  • Understand product capabilities, limitations and implementation
  • Actively participate in sales calls involving complex technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements. Also is responsible for explaining and researching the technical capabilities of BMC’s products verses our competition
  • Assist in developing competitive product white papers for use by sales and software consultants
  • Can focus on sales opportunity ranging from smaller or single solution to large or complex sales opportunities requiring complex solutions
  • Work with the sales representative with little supervision to define sales and technical strategies in dealing with the client
  • Perform Proof of Concept to demonstrate product capability
  • Channel/Partner enablement to ensure capable Partners
  • Research, compose and deliver responses to RFPs. Interact with clients to clarify requirements
  • Generate timely status reports, time usage reports and expense reports as requested by management
  • Collect business and technical information from clients regarding requirements. Determines whether BMC solutions can technically satisfy these requirements. Confer with the sales representative, technical and sales management on these observations
  • Design and build customized demonstrations of BMC solutions for prospective clients possibly using pre-production and beta software. Present and deliver these demonstrations to clients

Pre-Sales. Required Skills

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to keep an audience engaged over virtual telecommunication methods
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability
  • Substantial experience working in an enterprise-type software consulting, implementation, and training experience a plus
  • Pre-Sales. Experience working on our flagship BMC portfolio:- Service Management, Automation & Operations, or any of our competitors’ products is highly advantageous
  • Capable of pro-actively driving sales enablement and initiatives
  • Professional or Presales consulting experience, presentation and character
  • Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution understanding the customer’s business of IT
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic will be an advantage

Pre-Sales. Qualifications

  • Pre-Sales. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant IT field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Pre-Sales
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers)
  • Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client’s technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
  • Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability
